Medical billing for specialist practices

MedX asked us for the login details so they could make a few changes themselves. A day later they had found the real problem: it was the structure, not the words. We rebuilt the site from scratch and their hosting bill did not move.

What we did

A rebuild, not a redecoration.

01

Structure first

MedX bill and collect for surgeons and anaesthetists. The old site listed that among everything else it did. The new one opens with the practices they serve and the work they do for them, so a specialist knows within a screen whether this is for them.

02

Static, not WordPress

The plugins and themes underneath the old site had gone stale, which is the usual reason a small site becomes expensive to own. We rebuilt it as plain, fast HTML. There is no longer a database to patch or a plugin to break.

03

Their words and their faces

All new copy, written from a document the MedX team drafted themselves, then edited for the page rather than the page for the copy. New photographs of the actual team, replacing portraits that had aged out years ago.

The same monthly cost

A rebuild usually arrives with a bigger hosting bill attached. This one did not. The site is cheaper to run and cheaper to maintain, and the monthly figure stayed exactly where it was.
